This “Entreprise de Formation par le Travail” (Work Based Learning Enteprise) offers in Namur trainings for some catering’s jobs to unemployed and low-skilled people. The structure has a brasserie with 110 seats and a restaurant with 180 seats.
The aim of the action is to develop both technical and transversal (social) skills to achieve sustainable employment. The entreprise gets its funding:
- by the Walloon Region,
- by financial income linked to their economic activity.
Le Perron de l’Ilon welcomes an average of 70 people per year for 30,000 hours of training.
Both their pedagogical methods and their funding place each participant at the heart of his training and his project.
