Meeting in Kyustendil (Bulgaria)

Part of the project are the regular meetings of the partners organised each time in the country of a different partner. In October 2016, a meeting was held in Kyustendil, Bulgaria. Besides the main discussion on the intellectual products and working tasks of the project, the programme included a visit to the annual Festival of Rich Harvest in Kyustendil. The event included presentations of products of artisans and farmers from the last harvest of the region as well as new agricultural varieties. There were also competitions for the most beautifully arranged stand and biggest apple. The program of the festival also included an exhibition and demonstrations of healthy foods and homemade winter supplies.

Steering Committee of „Eco-restaurateur” project in Poland

On February 9-10th 2016, project partners met in Poland. In Barka they have been discussing the creation of an employee education model for kitchen workers in the area of ​​the  eco approach in the kitchen. The purpose of these activities is to equip marginalized people with additional knowledge and skills to make it easier for them to find a job. Within the project the task is to create a professional profile of eco-restaurant workers, create materials and tools for appropriate training and organize events to increase knowledge and environmental awareness in the context of restaurant operations.
