On February 9-10th 2016, project partners met in Poland. In Barka they have been discussing the creation of an employee education model for kitchen workers in the area of ​​the  eco approach in the kitchen. The purpose of these activities is to equip marginalized people with additional knowledge and skills to make it easier for them to find a job.

Within the project the task is to create a professional profile of eco-restaurant workers, create materials and tools for appropriate training and organize events to increase knowledge and environmental awareness in the context of restaurant operations.

During the visit the partners saw the social co-operative “Common Table”, which operates on the basis of eco principles and also uses products from the organic farm run by the Barka Foundation in Chudobczyce 60 km from Poznan.
